Welcome to Zwinger Von Wittenberge of Lutz, Florida. My passion for German Shepherds began 43 years ago when I was twelve years old. My parents bought me a trained German Shepherd named Hobo after I was held up at gunpoint in our home. He was my best friend and constant companion until the day I left for college and lost my best friend.

I have vowed to always have the best German Shepherd for my family and that is why today I am proud to be associated with Zwinger von Wittenberge and Orlando Castañeda.

Orlando has over 27 years of breeding and understanding the family lines of the breed and is also known nationally for his training. Orlando is dedicated to all aspects of the breed, maintaining the important characteristics and standards with the ability to work while still being sure the dog will also be a true family member with robust health.
